How to Set Up Your Business Email on Outlook, iPhone, and Android (IMAP or POP3)

So you’ve got your professional email address — like info@yourbusiness.co.za — from Kraft Tech. Now it’s time to access it easily on your phone or computer.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to set up your email using IMAP or POP3 on:

  • 📱 Android Mail

  • 📱 iPhone/iOS Mail

  • 💻 Microsoft Outlook

🔍 IMAP vs POP3 – What’s the Difference?

IMAP – Syncs emails across all devices. When you delete or read an email on your phone, it reflects on your desktop too.
POP3 – Downloads emails to one device. Best if you use a single device to access your emails.

🟢 We recommend IMAP for most users.

✅ Step 1: Get Your Email Settings from Kraft Tech

These are the typical email settings:

  • Incoming Mail Server (IMAP): mail.yourdomain.co.za

  • Port: 993 (SSL) or 143 (non-SSL)

  • Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.co.za

  • Port: 465 (SSL) or 587 (non-SSL)

  • Username: your full email (e.g., info@yourdomain.co.za)

  • Password: Your email password

📲 Set Up on Android Email App (Gmail App or Default Email App)

  1. Open your Email or Gmail app

  2. Tap Add Account

  3. Choose Other (not Gmail, Yahoo, etc.)

  4. Enter your email address and tap Manual Setup

  5. Choose IMAP or POP3

  6. Enter the server details above

  7. Enter your full email and password

  8. Tap Next and follow prompts

✅ Done! Your business email is now live on your phone.

📱 Set Up on iPhone/iPad (iOS Mail)

  1. Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account

  2. Choose Other > Add Mail Account

  3. Enter:

    • Name (e.g. Your Business Name)

    • Email address (e.g. info@yourdomain.co.za)

    • Password

    • Description (e.g. Work Email)

  4. Select IMAP

  5. Enter incoming and outgoing mail server info

  6. Save and exit

📥 iOS will verify the details and your email will appear in your Mail app.

💻 Set Up on Microsoft Outlook (Desktop App)

  1. Open Outlook

  2. Go to File > Add Account

  3. Enter your email address and click Advanced Options > Let me set up my account manually

  4. Choose IMAP or POP3

  5. Enter incoming and outgoing server details

  6. Enter your email password

  7. Click Connect

✅ Outlook will test the settings and complete setup automatically.
